As an adult, I realized that. I did a lot of things that I wouldn't dream of doing now. I had to learn fear. I had a boyfriend with an old hot rod and I'd stay in the car while he was ¹⁄₄ mile drag racing anyone who was foolish enough to race with him. That one gives me pause and I know how lucky we were not to wreck and die. We used to ride the waves behind the ships in the St. Lawrence too, another shit for brains moment.
