Sally, i bought a case of that sauce based on Frank's recommendation. i also thought it was a bit too sweet. i think Frank owns stock in the restaurant.
the sauce did grow on me. but i really prefer au poivre.

A whole freaking case? I would send him a bill for that shit and then drop it all off at the homeless shelter to piss off the bums on Christmas.

i thought i could only get it from the restaurant in NY. so i ordered it.$$$$$ it has to be shipped COLD. the stupid UPS people let it sit in a hot truck overnight, so it had to go back to NY and i had to get another order.
imagine my joy when i saw the damn stuff in my local meat case.

::lol:: They don't sell it in the grocery stores here, I found it at a gourmet deli, wine, and butcher store. It's still in my fridge, maybe I'll give it another shot. Thanks Frank
