I think we all see Babbitt very much as a human being that was lied to and brainwashed. Her error in judgement cost her her life. She is a casualty of criminals attempting to seize power and setting a mob off to do their dirty work.

Speak for yourself, because Duchess clearly does not see it that way.

Something that a lot of people fail to grasp is that an insurrection is an impossibility in America, due to the command and control architecture set up under the Continuity of Government program, which was developed by Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld during the Ford administration. The only way Trump could have circumvented the constitutional transfer of power was by means of a mass uprising, FAR beyond what occurred on Jan. 6^th, or by suspending the constitution and implementing martial law, which would have required the support of the top military brass. What you watched on television was edited to focus exclusively on the violence, which was a misrepresentation of what occurred, and is a textbook example of "fake news". It was NOT an "insurrection", but it was ugly and unnecessary.
