I was giving her pain meds daily and feeding her baby food with a spoon, or elevating her dish so she was more comfortable, but even then she usually just preffered to be sititng or laying while she ate.
She started sleeping in her litter box (I clean it out everytime she uses it)
And last night I slept on the floor next to her on top of a sleeping bag.
I couldn't imagine another night like that, but now that it is night time I am devestated.
I was fine all day, eating all of my comfort foods and binge watching netflix. I put almost all cat stuff away and did cleaning, everything except for the drawer she claimed.
I know I did the best thing
and I know I gave her a good life
this fucking sucks tho
Sleeping in the litter box is a good indication that she's run out of gas. You loved her and gave her a good home for her final days.
I don't think I'd manage very well without an animal friend. When the time's right, find a new friend, Mirah!
