That brought back memories from 20 years ago.
Our Granddaughter always helped us decorate our Christmas tree, but this one year she was on her way to Radio City music hall with her parents, and they were running late.
Even so, on the way, they stopped by our house, so she could at least put the star on top of our 9 ft high tree, (we have cathedral ceilings) her favorite part.
She came in fully dressed in cold weather gear, with heavy shoes
.
I didn't thing anything of it, so I picked her up and stretched over half the 8 foot diameter, she put the star on, and all of a sudden I felt a jolting burning pain in my back!
I went for PT for about a year after that, and till today my back still acts up when I stretch wrong.
It still is a dear memory of the topping!
