i never really thought about it till now. But if Pelosi did get the National Guard there she would have to admit that she did something Trump suggested.

How could she have her "insurrection" if the security had been beefed up?
The "optics" is her insurrection commission, which tries to keep attention focused on the white "domestic terrorists" who were pushing back against the Democratic insurrectionists that were burning and looting all across the country.
