 I know how to do the Heimlich maneuver and had to do it on my mom once. 

I once did that to a little kid who was choking on a piece of hard candy. I wasn't scared or upset in any way at the time, but later when I returned home I got mind fucked thinking of what if's and it reduced me to tears.
