As I previously mentioned, Taylor had been under investigation since 2016, when a dead man was found in a car she had rented, used by her boyfriend who ran a drug gang. She rented quite a few cars for him and his boys, but clean as a whistle as far as the national media and Feds are concerned.
Funny how the media almost always singles out the "victims" who are the least deserving of public sympathy, because there are a great many who do deserve it. I have no love for cops, but my dislike for liars is considerably greater, because there are some good cops who try to execute their duties to the benefit of society -- but dirty politicians have no use for those who take their oaths seriously.
