Not sure if this is a tradition, but all holidays that involved extended family were held at our house. We had a big kitchen and a nice semi formal dining room.
Another one was when we were opening gifts on Christmas, we would take the bows and pitched them at the tree. Whoever got the most got nothing but bragging rights
