To Dunk or not to Dunk

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to dunk your cookies. 

Yeah me too. I'd still drink the milk or coffee if it fell apart.

Dunking Dunkin' donuts is good too.

Is this hot milk or cold milk ??   that's all just gross   ...and drinking the sludge it becomes is disgusting too.

Cold milk, hot coffee. Mmm......sludge. 

That's me judged.

But, cold milk?  how does it soften it?  it must just stay hard, it can't possibly turn gooey.

Cold milk softens the cookie or donut just like it makes cereal soggy.
