Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe your position is that parents are the best arbiters to determine what is appropriate (and inappropriate) for their children . . . and it's no one's business concerning the choices they make, regarding their children.
You used Drag Shows as an example.
And the discussion then shifted to why this sudden need for Drag Queens, as a medium, to entertain (educate) kids.
