The Difference between Rugby and Yankee football.
#22
Isnt the quarter back trying to hit a reciever in a play before the ball is thrown.? Its not rendom. To counter tall recivers teams will have to get tall defenders, or be annihilated, and yes Duchess, it is that simple. Simplicity is genius. Your welcome. Rugby is an open field, you can run the ball or kick to chase, depending where the game is at that time, the ball is alive.....ALL THE TIME. There is no stopping for a chat, tea, or a pint.

It shows crash, you dont know rugby, and like the NFL, it is about grinding rather than kicking or running the ball. Even the french now seem to prefer grinding, letting the forwards do all the work, pinching yards. In the 1970s they ran the ball at every oppurtunity.

I wish i could post up the game of all games, with a the try of all tries scored by Johnathan Davies for the Barbarians against south africa i think, i 1973.

Ill find it and post it up, its worth it. It got me off my seat, and made my hair stand up...in awe, thinking did i see that? As for the NFL, a revolution in how its done is well overdue.
