Mark referred to it as a "supposed" insurrection and rothschild pipes in with reference to the riots of 1968. trump convinced those people to be there. He wanted them to stop the count, be there it'll be wild he said. The intention was to stop the peaceful transfer of power. Some of his cult literally shit in our Capitol, lawmakers were running for their lives, some of those same lawmakers later went on to say it was a normal day for tourists on the Hill. Are you fucking kidding me.
If you'd read my posts you would have seen that I said Trump was the one who should be imprisoned, with the exception of those who brought weapons.
When you say that broadened context equates to minimization, you're saying that you're accustomed to seeing and judging events with minimized context.
Nothing happens in this world in isolation. Everything happens in relationship to environment, and environment is not limited to a particular place in time and space. Imagine video footage that's shot exclusively in close-up. Do you think that's going to effect how you perceive what was captured? Do you think it won't? Does it enhance understanding to view things exclusively from a close-up perspective, or it is better to include broader perspectives?
Who decides the perspective within which events are presented to the public? Do you think they're people who have no implicit biases? Do you think such people exist?
