Yeah, that's a big part of it. I've commented on a shade of lipstick being flattering to someone but I didn't fucking ask what brand it was, like "oh, I'm so dazzled by your beauty and want to look like you." And why would a bunch of internet acquaintances ask about Julie's skin care regime when they've probably never even seen her before? Or were they just taking her word on how stunningly beautiful she is?

I don't know what to tell you hon. I get compliments on my skin all the time. People ask me what I use. That's realy all there is to it. I understand if you're experiencing shock & awe because it doesn't happen to you. You posted your vid & you're cute but the skin doesn't really stand out... so maybe no one ever asked you "Hey, what are you using on your skin?" Maybe you've been asked about your hair - it looked pretty healthy. Same principle.

Sometimes you find great products that way. I found an awesome poduct for curly hair by asking a woman I saw in the restroom.

Anyway, if you're talking about "selling" stuff to folks on a website - of course they can't see you. The selling points online are different. Like, for household products it may be the price or the hypoallergenic qualities or some other appealing thing. But you know about all of this since you conduct business on a website.
