There is an article in the Daily Mail that says that regular use of Pot leads to mental illness, the evidence for such is growing. 

That confirms what I always believed . . . and is why a cast iron skillet or a Dutch Oven is my preferred cooking vessel.

Except for acidic foods.

My motto:  "More pan . . . less pot."

I cooked a spice cake in an iron skillet once. It was amazing!
