They are quite docile compared to other spiders, the worst are Huntsmans in my experience, when i was in Melbourne i saw like 20 of the big bastards a day and they are lightning quick and hella unpredictable.
They were not that aggressive but its hard to be relaxed when theres a spider the size of your hand charging round your living room with the zoomies.
Being in Aus did curb my arachnophobia though so thats something i guess.
