Scott Gottlieb Joined Pfizer's board of directors within 3 months of resigning as FDA commissioner. From his resignation letter:

“There’s nothing that could pull me away from this role other than the challenge of being apart from my family for these past two years and missing my wife and two young children."

I guess Pfizer became part of his family.

Granted I’ve never been an FDA commissioner or on the board of Pfizer but I have been a board member and an employee and the demands on my time were far less as a board member; he may well be getting much more time with his family.

ETA: and no, it wasn’t on the board of the PTA (although I did that too, lol). It was the BOD for a corporation before that. Fuckers. I know the way u think.
