I noticed you avoided the part where it's part of our Constitutional right to own them. There's no point arguing with you if you're going to tear apart an argument to suit your own needs. You do this all the time. It's tedious to say the least.
OP I don't own a gun. I have no intention of owning one but I understand our right to own them. Argue all you want - the fact remains there are still more law abiding gun owners than criminals with them using them.
Again, whole countries are dealing in illegal weapons trading so how do you propose we stay safe with any kind of ban? Countries, citizens - makes no difference. Criminals will get what they want.
