My daughter was never bothered about a dummy or sucking her thumb, her worst habit is twisting her hair with her finger, she's actually got her finger stuck in her hair more than once.

There used to be an old-fashioned practice of giving kids what was called a 'sugar tit', basically a piece of cloth full of sugar, tied closed, that they would be allowed to suck on. Ruined many an infant's teeth, I'm sure. I can't even imagine.

Unfortunately for Jade she inherited my thick, wavy hair, it's not a problem for me, I always keep it short but she is going to be cursing me when she is a teenager.

Male or female, one should never curse thick hair. Thick hair can always be cut back. Thin hair... you're fucking screwed. :|
