Id cards are fucking useless in stopping terrorism, Spain has had ID cards for years and they did nothing to stop the Madrid bombing. If the UK government bring them in which isactually looking less likely now if you now anything about the political climate in the UK they would be on a voluntary basis only making them fucking useless. ID cards basically turn the task of stopping terrorism into a game of Guess who" - "Has he got blond hair?", "no", "has he got brown hair?", "yes", "has he got a beard?", "yes", "is his name Mohammed?. "yes!".

I know some brainacs have volunteered to have this done and think its a good idea but seriously I doubt this will ever come to pass. Anyway they would violate the human rights act which the EU brought in! How ironic, ehpussy?, the EU bringing in laws to protect peoples freedom! who woulda thunk it?
