i'm watching it closely too, my brother and sister are in Maryland and could see 2 feet of snow. a big concern is single-digit wind-chill temps and 50 mph winds. trees and power lines will go down. best of luck to all of you who are affected! i know the feeling of fear after a number of florida hurricanes. and some major nor'easters the years i lived here in New England before. preparation is everything.

I've seen reports here between 8-18". That isn't nearly as much snow as we had during the last 'big' storm. A major consideration is supposed to be the ice we're getting today though. I've already seen the power brown-out a few times today. I'm hoping we don't lose it altogether. I have electric heat.
