It didnt go unnoticed. I know being confronted by truth isnt nice, but here goes. Only a handful of farmers wanted independence, most wanted to stay british. What ensued was a tragedy. A tragedy for the American people. Britain only lost because our supply line was interrupted by the Atlantic ocean, and that crushing the revolution would have been easy but for that.
It was also tragic for the treasury, the british bank, as we would have charged you about 11 per cent on your gross national product for the privilege of being governed by us. What also sticks in the craw is that you invited those slimy frogs to join in. That is a BIG insult.
With an understanding of the deep wisdom and intelligence of the ancient british, we go way back, an application to rejoin the Commonwealth would be approved. Indeed, i would go further than that and apply for yourselves to become a shire of britain, and have an MP in parliament. This would mean that you would be governed by us, and taxed, which would be a small price to pay for the privilege.
Oh, and our queen would be your queen.
This wont happen but should. My info on your country suggests that when the next election comes along, the Republicans will win by a landslide. All good there. Those republicans, they cost parliament a lot of money. Oh well, pip pip.
