When Ifirst started working for the police back in 93 I worked in the property/evidence lock up, I had to wear the civilian uniform, black trousers, white shirt, red tie, red epilettes with your civilian number on. I once turned up to do overtime whena major cannabis haul was being numbered and catalogued in a burgundy tie and I was sent home!
