I agree that may be at least part of Trump's problem attracting and retaining high quality attorneys.
He doesn't always follow their advice and requires a lot of time, money, and loyalty investment.
Yet, at the end of service.......he's notorious for not paying people for their services at the contracted price, trying to negotiate down from the terms he signed-off on, and sometimes suing providers claiming 'performance issues' when they demand to be paid what they've earned. Trump openly brags about those tactics.
I could not stay in business if my biggest clients pulled that shit. I turn down clients who have a proven track record of stiffing service providers, no matter how much they offer to pay and how many referrals they promise.
