When you have ALREADY signed a contract and agreed to a price, that's the price you should pay -- no welching, filing baseless lawsuits, and other bullshit to try to stiff providers once the job is done is justified.
Providers have to pay their employees, contractors, and overhead - we often times incur a lot of costs before payment is made.
People who sign contracts with no intention of paying the agreed-to price and abiding by the agreed-to terms have no integrity and put people out of business. Once word gets around the industry about such welchers, they have a hard time attracting and retaining providers, for very good business reasons.
