1. There is a rumor, as yet unsubstantiated but gaining steam, that Flynn may have worn a wire in meetings with Trump and that he actually "flipped" over 18 months ago. It fits with the extremely lenient recommendations of R Mueller.

2. Taking the fifth does not extend to the surrender of documents. Stone is still screwed.

3. Trump has no allies. And this is most likely going to explode via Russia when they flat out state Trump tried to buy an election with their help. Putin is beyond our ability to truly punish and he knows it, as well as the fact that Trump will no longer be anything but a liability after January 2019. So his next plan, having successfully destroyed our standing on the world stage and isolated us as a nation, will be to mire us in chaos by revealing key elements of how they broke our elections. Not to mention some of the kompromat on Trump. The resulting mayhem will distract and occupy us for years to come and will free Putin up to continue his true goal of returning Russia to a position of power in the world and re-annexing some of what was lost starting with the Crimean peninsula.
