There were some people that objected to statues and monuments and appealed to have them them torn down or removed that were fine despite thinking that. There were also some very bad people on their side. Antifa was intermingled in their group but the fact that the Antifa also wanted statues gone did NOT mean that any one of those specific individuals were associated with Antifa or held Antifa's terrible values and penchant for violence. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simple or intellectually dishonest.
