I am debating going to the "protest" this weekend after hearing the organizers talk about it on the radio. It is also a vigil, which I am fine with. It just sounded hokey the way they presented it as "Just a bunch of sad moms who recognize their privilege and want to do something in support, but we are in no way protesting our local law enforcement, we want to make a difference"
Um
then donate
or something
being at a group gathering in a park in a mostly white town doesn't sound productive to me.
(to be fair I haven't seen or heard of problems with our local law enforcement)
