Same here. It doesn't feel like Christmas & it depresses me watching people ( including myself) Christmas shop & grocery shop wearing masks...looking like bandits. The hardest thing for me is not being able to have all the kids for dinner & watch the grandbabies open gifts. One daughter & her family live w/me so they'll be home & my other daughter who lives 5 minutes away will be here, but I told both my sons to stay home & we'll try to get together in a week or two & that was the only way to get my husband to agree to dinner w/the girls. He didn't think it was a good idea for the family dinner .....4 kids w/their kids...12 grandbabies. I forget sometimes how crazy it gets LOL
I feel like an idiot saying Merry Christmas. I have to remind myself, we're all dealing w/this virus in some way & be grateful I wake up every morning, whining and bitching. Whatever you do, stay safe, always have a mask and stay in after curfew. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year for all!
