I kind of dislike generational arguements because of the relevency. I mean as a kid we had earthquake drills, and there was gang violence sure, and my vice principal wore a bullet proof vest, mostly because he was an asshole, but we didn't have "active shooter" drills in school.
The kids and parents these days are definitely different. Like we walked to school or the bus stop, none of this "parents waiting with the kids at the bus stop or dropping them off at schools" I don't understand that-
And then I look at my mom and her generation, wow. And what she went through growing up.
Each generation is going to be different, I choose to see what we can learn from each one.
I sound so self-righteous, I guess I just didn't have the patience today.
