HAMLET, N.C. (WGHP)—
Three people have been charged with attacking and robbing a 75-year-old widow as she was visiting her husband's grave.
Hamlet Police Chief John Haywood said 18-year-old Breonna Williams was arrested Monday and charged with armed robbery and breaking or entering a motor vehicle in the February attack at Mary Love Cemetery in Hamlet.
Haywood said the teen shoved Dorothy Craven to the ground on top of her husband's grave, held a gun to her head and cursed at her while two others broke into Craven's car and took her purse and other belongings. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police earlier had arrested 23-year-old Antwan West and a 16-year-old male.
The three suspects are from Hamlet and are awaiting an April 28 hearing. It wasn't clear if they have attorneys.
