Ladies, you'll probably be proud of me, and guys, you'll probably want to punch me for my stupidity. Here's what happened:
I'll occasionally head to a local Tavern with co-workers in a small bedroom community of the Twin Cities. Always have my wedding ring on and the beauty of this particular bar is, there's NEVER any attractive women in there. NO chance to put myself in a postion to cheat.
So, last night I head over with a male co-worker and a little 27 year old hottie (it was her b-day, and we were going to buy her a couple of beers). She heads out back to have a smoke, and I mention to 'Bill', 'Same old clientele in here tonight'. Never a good looking woman, blah, blah, blah.
Not 5 minutes later, 2 women walk through the door that stop the bar in its tracks. I'm thinking late 30's and very good looking. They end up at the bar a few stools down from our gang.
One of them ends up being loud and says something about Roberto Luongo, goalie for the Vancouver Canucks. I hear this and yell something about hockey to her, and she mentions she's from Canada. I keep my eye on them, but don't approach.
15 mins or so later, I decide I'm going to play some tunes. As I walk by them I mention that they MUST be out of towners because there's never an attractive woman in here. They loved it. Either they were super horned up or they were humoring me.
My group (hottie's sister and friend showed up) decide to move out onto the patio. My buddy heads out with them. As I'm walking past the two women to join the group, they stop me.
Small talk. Laughing. They end up being 37 and 42. Other gal is from Denver. Both single moms. Here for training. Guys from their group were losers and they wanted to mingle with the Minny crowd of men. I told them 'sorry' for the lack of good looking men at the bar. They chuckled.
Went this way for about a half hour.
They were definitely on the prowl. Ready, if Mr Right were there, to knock boots. I'm fairly confident I could've/would've been that guy. I chose not to.
Now I sit and struggle with it. Really, no one would've ever known. They would've headed back home, etc.
At the end of the day, I just knew it was wrong and couldn't bring myself to cheat.
