Well, Zimmerman told Hannity that there's nothing that he would do differently and he doesn't regret following Trayvon that night.
"It was all God's plan", he said.
If I were him, I'd regret not telling Trayvon that I was Neighborhood Watch (which George has said was a conscious choice) or that I'd called police. That could have diffused the situation. George didn't want Trayvon to get away and was committed to detaining him without Trayvon knowing anything about Zimmerman. Nothing illegal in George's account of the encounter, but certainly some regrettable decisions on his part. IMO.
From a legal standpoint, I don't know if it would have been wise for him to admit regrets publicly, if he had any. Course, I wouldn't be doing national interviews either.
