Register to access porn online?
#1
After the life sentence handed down to paedophile and murderer Mark Bridger for the abduction and murder of 5 year old April Jones last night questions are being asked about the availability of porn online.

Bridger had indecent and violent images of the sexual abuse of children on his computer. An abuse expert said he has “no doubt” that “looking at indecent images and videos of the sexual abuse of children can lead someone to go on to commit similar offences themselves”.

One internet expert has suggested that all new online devices should have their safety and censorship settings set as high as possible as their default setting. If users wanted to access porn (including legitimate legal porn) or other adult online content they will have to register as an adult and be made to log in with a password to access any adult online content.

What do you think? Do we have to take a drastic step to fight the spread of access to illegal porn online? Or is forcing users to register and log in to access legal porn and other adult content a step too far?

I'm pretty fucking tired of people who aren't fucked in the head paying for the sins of those who are. No, no one should have to register in order to access porn.

The guy had child porn on his computer which isn't supposed to be out there on the interwebs anyway. Registering for adult porn doesn't make any sense with regards to the sexual abuse of children.

It's just the gov trying to jump on the chance to have bigger tabs on everyone, they are just using this story as a boost point for their ''porn register''
