I had a lot of learning difficulties that were unassesed till I was 14-15, up till that time I had been treated as a child who refused to learn, not a child who the teaching system was not built to help, so I left school and got a job at 14, worked ever since.

I am the black sheep of my family and receiving such bad rep from school only reinforced my failing my parents in their eyes, my father used to kick the living shit out of me on a regular basis so I nearly never went home from around 11-12 onwards basically lived at a close friend of mines house.

When my flatmate who had the flat in his name kept saying he had paid my rent I gave him to our land lord when in fact he had not been paying mine nor his own and we were evicted, I stayed in a hostel for a period till I was stable and back on my feet which I am.

It is illegal for a 14 year old to be in full time employment of any kind in the UK. Children under 16 MUST be having full time education of one form or another its the law.
