I was looking for some real pics and stumbled on this article... The men admitted breaching a January 2001 injunction, binding on the whole world, imposed before Venables and Thompson were released, which outlaws anyone making information public that reveals their appearance, location or new names. Binding on the whole world?? Huh? There were some pictures out there apparently (the guys in the story will serve 9 months for posting them) but seriously? If I could find them and post them on Mock, the British would be coming...? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/jam...ts-1855208 Commando Cunt Queen

I think it's sweet that the government gave them new names and identities. I certainly wouldn't want to know if one of them were living next door to me.

Looks like a lot misrepresentation has been afforded these kids. This should probably get it's own thread and have its posts moved.

Well, since there's a world wide ban on posting pictures of these two, I wonder if there's a world wide ban on visiting a website...?

I read that Venables had a girlfriend with a 5 year old daughter right before they found child porn on his computer. Nice.

Since I'm seeing some media citing the minor suspect's name and photo, it's okay to do so here as well.
Skylor Atilano, suspect (16 year old half-brother of victim) Also living in the home, AFAIK, was Terry's 14 year old half sister. The boys' mother and her female partner appeared on the local news when Terry was first reported missing. Suspect's and victim's mother, Shawna "Bekkah" Smith Residents of the Menifee community (Riverside County) searched endlessly for missing Terry until his remains were discovered 75 feet from the boy's home yesterday. The 16 year old suspect participated in the search efforts. Some residents feel betrayed by the family and want their donations back; not unusual with an ending like this one. All, if you wanna post more specifically on Venables and Thompson, there's a thread in LC's Cell Block - Dungeon section ("Venables and Thompson"). Your posts have been copied into that thread; located here: http://mockforums.net/post-330578.html#pid330578 Thanks. (HOTD: edit to add new thread link)

This is weird...
(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - A detective says a woman who said she had visions led them to a body in the search for a missing Southern California boy. Riverside County Sheriff's Detective John Powers tells KFI-AM radio Thursday that Pam Ragland found the body matching the description of 11-year-old Terry Smith. A 16-year-old family member was later arrested on suspicion of murder. Pam Ragland Powers says Ragland called a tip line about her vision, and was invited to join the search. Ragland told CBS Los Angeles in an interview that she knew where to look for Terry, "I saw him like under a tree, kind of laying down - like he was sleeping. I saw the city was far away and there was a dirt road." Powers says Ragland and her children came to the house without knowing it was the boy's, walked on to the property and right to the partially buried body. He says he searched the area previously himself without seeing it. The station reports police have confirmed that Ragland found Terry's body. They questioned her and then she was released. ================================================ Honestly, I don't understand why LE didn't search the immediate area of the boy's home thoroughly first, given the circumstances. 1,000 searchers, helicopters and bloodhounds, 3 days of searching...and a psychic discovers the remains in essentially the family's backyard. Hindsight and all, I just find it odd.

I remember several years ago three little boys from Philly or Jersey were missing, everyone thought they had been abducted, they were found dead in the trunk of a car parked at their home. They were right there the whole time. There was a live broadcast taking place one evening and the camera caught the Dad opening the trunk and falling to his knees upon seeing what was in there.

If I remember right, they sued the city and won a couple of million dollars... claimed the police failed by not checking the car on the property while searching.
