When Olenna Tyrell first met Sansa she asked Sansa straight up what Joffrey was like, without hesitation she said, he's a monster. I knew Olenna's family needed this marriage but I also knew she would never let her granddaughter suffer at the hands of that madman. She is a fearless, kickass, old lady.

Did the dwarf deliberately hurt his lover & send her away so his fucked up family wouldn't kill her? That's the impression I have, that he sacrificed his love for her to keep her safe.
