Surely not the Covid vaccine conspiracy theorists.
You're going to keep hearing about these incidents because Covid itself can cause heart problems as can the vaccine. They both came from a lab.

Wow. She died. I saw the headline yesterday afternoon saying she had been taken to the hospital and it was accompanied by a picture of her & her mom from the night before. They had been at the Golden Globes because of a movie about Elvis. She did not look well. She looked old and tired. 54 is not old.

You'd think wealthy people who have access to the very best surgeons would take advantage of that. Jane Fonda did and she looks fantastic, not at all cat-like.

And the rest Sally, she was off her face at the Golden Globes. She has probably overdosed accidently. It will come out in the wash.

It's being reported that Lisa Marie was declared brain-dead after she arrived at the hospital and her family signed a DNR in case she went into cardiac arrest again, which she did.
Her former husband, the father of her adult children, lived with her and performed CPR until the EMT's arrived the first time, but it reads like she had been without oxygen for long enough to cause brain death. That sounds similar to what Maggottyboo went through.

Oh that is horrible Duch, really makes it personal and brings it home. Maggot wasn't downing opiates like they were M&Ms. He so didn't deserve that.
She should have had the best healthcare available to ensure that couldn't happen to her. Not much has changed since her Dad died. Of course when Elvis first died they said heart attack, all the other stuff came out eventually, but not initially.

Great talent and voice.
Loved CSN with and without Young.
Thought Melissa Etheridge's choice for him to provide the seed for her kid was brilliant.
I remembered when he got popped in NYC for weed and gun possession.
Served time and yet bounced back.
He and Nash made harmonizing almost hypnotic.

Just got off the phone with my brother.
After the usual chit-chat, he got around to mentioning David Crosby's passing.
He claims . . . notice I said claims . . . I would sing along with CSN's Daylight Again album, when I thought no one was within earshot and without restraint.
I do remember loving that album. I was probably 14 years old, at the time.
Wasted on the Way, Southern Cross and Daylight Again (Find the Cost of Freedom) . . . I still can recite the lyrics and can't remember the last time I've listened to them.
Stills was lead vocal on most of the tracks, but again, the harmony sung by Nash and Crosby seemed as if I was personally invited to join in and celebrate with them.
We traded a few good natured barbs, said our goodnights and, as typical with this brother, he closes (with some sort of pun) by saying:
"Hey . . . we STILLS have NASH to keep us YOUNG."
I disconnected and suddenly felt "old" . . . and now, truly understood the lyrics of Wasted on the Way.

Isn't Neil Young kind of a dick head? From what I've heard he is, although I like that song Old Man.

Nicolette Larson co-sung with him on 'Four Strong Winds' (love that song, easy to play on the guitar). It was a huge hit, stands on it's own. Larson's vocal contribution is significant and unique.
She was best friends with his sister and he dated her for a short time. Anyway, Larson had a tylenol addiction and passed away from it in the 90s. He talked badly about her addiction after she passed. I thought that was unnecessary and if you can imagine, those that were close to her and loved her, that would really hurt that a high profile person like him was publicly airing someone else's dirty laundry. I thought that was a low blow and could make him a dickhead.
He also got spiteful when in Crosby Stills Nash and Young. If Young didn't get his own way he would sabotage and not contribute good songs, and keep his good stuff for his solo work. Ego shit.

I think it was tylenol with something else, might have been valium. Either way, I think she died of liver disease. I don't know why he (was obviously privvy to her private life given his sister was her best friend) went public and discussed her addiction issues and details. I just dont think it was his place. Why doesn't he discuss his own shortcomings.

There was a documentary about Crosby on british tv, im sure it must have been shown in the US too. It showed Crosby as an overt narcissist, intent on getting his way on everything, even to the point of threatening to disband the band if he didnt. As a child me and our gang had footballs that regularly got lost or punctured, so ownership varied. Steve Hayden had a ball a good one, and unless he got his way, he would take it home.
He grew up anti social, and a bad ass. He once threw a cricket ball at me from about fifteen yards, full power, and thankfully missed, a cricket ball is hard.
Crosby is at that stage, about eleven, all narcs are. To his credit he admitted to it in front of the camera, was unapologetic, and would do it again, and was proud of it. And he got away with it.
