Gene Hackman has died. He was 95. His wife and his dog died too. Authorities say there was no foul play but as I was walking through the living room just now I heard the reporter say there wasn't a gas or carbon monoxide issue either which is exactly what I thought when I first heard about it and 2 other dogs were discovered alive.

That is very strange.

She stared in Buffy and Gossip Girl and Harriet the Spy

Yesterday was the first time I've ever heard her name. I read her mom found her, that's so damn awful, it will be in her head until the day she dies.

Excluding the brilliant Gene Hackman of course. His movies were next level, you are going there if he is in it. Watching the French Connection was so stressful, you really get caught up in all of it.

And I don't want to know either. Their music is shit. No one makes good music anymore. I like listening to all the good music that I like, and none of it is released this century.

Agreed. That's why 99.9% of the time I fast forward through SNL's musical garbage acts. I think I lost my appreciation for these new, young musicians somewhere in the early 2000's.

Gene hackmen had dementia, his wife died a full week before he did.   He wandered around his house for a week, without knowing his wife was dead,  or a dog was in a crate.  Nobody cared enough to check in.  What an awful way to go.

Yes, it is awful, it's a very sad story all the way around.

Val Kilmer died. He was only 65, that seems very young to die. Old isn't old like it used to be. Easy for me to say as someone who was born in the 60's.

That is young to die.My mom died at 78 and I thought that also was too young to die. People should be living until their late 80's at least. 90's or 100+ if they are lucky.

My mom died at 66. She had lung cancer which could have been controlled enough to give another five years. It was a slow cancer that you can actually live with, but she also had Parkinson's and that was the worst for her. That is what did her in, it got to the point where she shook uncontrollably and couldn't even eat or swallow food. No one wants to live like that and I don't blame them.

I did not like her hospice people or whatever the hell they are called. I KNOW THIS ISN'T MY BIZ AT ALL!
