Not really. All the senators and congressmen that have been in office forever need to be replaced. And they should not be able to vote themselves a raise. They should not be exempt from Obamas healthcare plan. And that's just the beginning.

Exactly! Like they would vote no to a raise. It's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. And yea, make the people pay a penalty for not having health insurance. But exempt the people that passed the law. Absurd.

Not at all. I see the primary problem as campaign financing, lobbying and special interest groups. Take the money out of politics and politicians might actually vote for what's right instead of what will appease the people lining their political pockets.

It's not right that we're largely convinced we only have 2 viable political parties because those two are the only ones that can raise the big bucks for massive campaigns.
