That is what I keep hearing from the kids. We are all sick of unpacking. It's hot as fuck outside. And the worst is FUCKING COMCAST!!! We should have cable by now. They have cancelled two appointments so far. The next appointment is not scheduled until Friday. Their customer service sucks. W&D have no phone, Internet, or cable. This is making me very pissy.

Is Comcast your only option? Probably so given they are making you wait like this.

I am going to call AT&T Uverse tomorrow and see if they are available in my area. If so, Comcast can kiss my ass.

Call them back and threaten to have the Public Utilities Commission after them, tell them that the PUC is your next call.
It works, trust me.

I don't think many kids know how to do that these days, not to mention how many lack imagination and drive. That's why there's so many fat little fucks running around.
Now I'm wondering how many parents are buying their kids the newest video games instead of a bike & skates.

A few sad things going on today:
Kids cannot tell time. They rely on analog time. Not understanding what quarter after 5 is.
They cannot read or write cursive, so much for the future of signing things.
They are not required to memorize multiplication tables.
All these things, basic things need to be taught at home. I'm so glad my kids do not play video games. my son is outside getting filthy and my daughter is a little bookworm.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

That's almost laughable. Not all parents are as involved with their kids as you & the Professor are.
Some teenagers can't even make change.

They teach mental math here. Im not sure how they do it where yall r but this is how they have to do their 4th grade math.....
88x2=
80x2=160
8x2=16
Now add 160 plus 16= 176 so the product is 176
I was never taught this way but its much easier.

As far as I can tell, kids being taught today are not even required to use their minds.
That's only semi-sarcastic, the remainder is what I truly believe.

My kids have bikes. They had to memorize multiplication tables. I do wish they loved to read like I do. They need to make friends so they have peeps to hang out with.

Ramsey, am I correct in assuming that your new home is already wired for phone/tv/internet?
It's crazy they would make someone wait like this, turning this stuff on is a very simple procedure.

Comcast sucks a big donkey dick. They're all evil bastards, but Comcast is the most evil.
Tell them to fuck off and get satellite.
It doesn't matter when they show up, you will still have never ending problems with them.

Being in the business, I can assure you Comcast has the worse customer service. In fact, AT&T U-verse has been beating the hell out of them in the last few months, doing real damage with their market share after implementing a really aggressive marketing plan. I am a Directv user because their customer service is the best in the industry and they are the only ones offering an NFL package.

Have they started school yet? Is Mike down there? Have you found another provider for phone/tv/internet? Did your fridge arrive? Do you have an alarm system? Is that woman still acting like an ex-hole? Speaking of ex-holes, did yours give you any shit over moving so far away? Experienced a tornado warning yet? How is Jethro & Scooby? Long fuckin' drive, huh?
