I don't like feeling crabby & pissy so I always try to jostle myself out of it by pointing out things to myself that could be so much worse. No matter how bad you (that's a general you) have it, someone, somewhere, has got it worse.
How do you get out of a crappy mood...or do you just live with it and wait for it to pass?

Music, walking for miles, and sex are things that can help bust me out of a bitchy mood pretty quickly (or at least offer a temporary distraction if the situation causing it is serious).
This song always works for me if it's just crabbiness looking ahead to, or behind at, a day of dealing with assholes.

Music always helps me. I blast it on the car and break out my best car dancing moves. Cleaning helps me too because I feel a lot better when the house looks good.
You should go for a ride Duchess.

HOTD mentioned sex, that pretty much fixes most things.
But there are others
For instance....

Yep, that works too, Six.
Don't even have to be in the driver's seat to get the full therapeutic benefits.
P.s. that's such a nice ride.

I want to sit behind Six in a pink sleeveless T-Shirt and Rainbow print Bandana!! We would look like that gay couple, the Dad from Charlie's chick, in 2 and a half men
Shock therapy worked great for me. Since I witnessed the revolution and resulting dead bodies in Indonesia as well as spending a month in a Kenyan jail, I never felt bad in my life again. Every day is full of happiness.
The only bad side effect that comes from it might be you don't take life very serious, which can be a bit irritating for others once in a while, but I can sure live with that.

I haven't taken life seriously in years.
Face might look all serious, but theres a 3 ring circus going on in there.
Never been to Kenya, but I do happen to own a pink shirt.

I think that those who take life (too) seriously do a disservice to themselves.

You'd better shake a leg and get to Six first, Mo. Tiki already called dibs on his bitch seat.
As fun as it would be to have you waist-hugging from behind, something tells me Tiki might edge you out if Six had to choose.
She hasn't been around lately; hope she's off having fun even if she's on the road for business.

I didn't realize the glides were that much heavier. My FLHTC weighs in just under 900lbs. 300 lbs for the faring, bags and stereo seams like a lot to me.

Yes, I guess it all adds up. Longer/more exhaust, larger fenders, air ride system, floor boards, heal toe shifter, etc. It dont seam like much, but a lb here a lb there and real quick it ends up being 300 lbs.

Reminds me of the day my pop finally admitted he was getting old. He turned 83 this year. When he was 80 he was hopping on his latest bike and riding from Texas to Kansas and back. Monthly. Called me one day as close to crying as that old buzzard can get, told me he'd stopped at a light, his arm gave out and laid the fulldress down and he didn't have the strength to pick it up again. Something about the way he told that story almost made me sorry for him in that moment...I think it broke his heart more than anything or woman ever did.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

See. That's what scares me about getting old. Just reading that made me feel sorry for the old guy. To no longer be able to do the things you love to do must be crushing. I don't want to be an old fart in a rocker on the porch.
