Do any of you watch SOA? Yeah, I know Sin had a thread on here but that's 5 years old.
If you watch it, what do you think about it?
I've only watched the first episode this season and I moved a week after it started. I only have basic cable and I don't get FX.
Now that I'm back online, I'm having a marathon weekend of nothing but SOA...

I got bored with it. It was the same old same old from about season two. It's further from reality than mutant ninja turtles, but that's Hollywood I guess. The whole narrated 'writing my philosophical memoirs' for my baby thing was done better in the terminator series.

It is over the top, that's for sure. Like how there's a gang for everything under the sun for such a small, 'charming' little town. The blacks, Mexicans, Chinese, Irish...even the fucking Indians.
I like some of the more non-violent storylines.

I like it and enjoy watching it.Some of it may seem far fetched and extreme but the life of the Clubs of that degree probly has that lifestyle more than what you may understand looking from the outside in. 1% Clubs have a close, secret clic and dont let outsiders know shit.
Motorcycle Clubs and Gangs are compleatly different things.
I used to have a link that would help those who wish to understand,..learn more about the life.I'll see if I can find it.It would really help those who have no understanding of the Biker world and lifestyle figure out the basics and differances and the many misconceptions.

I've started to lose interest in the last two seasons. I'll still watch next season, but is really is the same shit over and over. My favorite storyline is Gemma and Tara. I already know that came to a screeching halt on the season ender, but I haven't seen it yet.
I wonder if there really will be a spinoff? Not sure if I would watch it or not because it would probably be the same thing with different actors.
I'll pass on the club vs gang info. Thanks anyway, but I know people in both and know what the differences are.

I have opinions about "Reality" show so I don't watch it. What little I did see in the beginning made me laugh.
Having lived the life for a few years I was something less than impressed.

The actor who plays Jax was born just down the road from me, his dad was a gangster (a real gangster).
Whenever I see Ron Perlman I always think of that crappy Beauty and the Beast show with Linda Hamilton.

Jax is quite the hottie, but not my favorite in the least. I can hardly get a woman around my parts to agree with me on that one, but he's a little too pretty for me. Ron Pearlman is one ugly looking man, almost scary even. I thought his role as Clay on Sons was perfect for him though.

Ron is almost cartoonishly ugly, I can remember seeing a picture of him without the beast make up on for the first time and I thought to myself “he was hardly wearing any make up! in fact he was more handsome with the make up on!” Good actor though can't take that away from him.
My wife doesn't like pretty boys either something which I am living testament too.

If you watch the show then you know who Tig is. Tig is probably one of least attractive characters on the show, but he's the one who I think has the most sex appeal. He's the one I would hop into bed with in a heartbeat for fun, casual, no holds bar sex with.
Chibbs would be my lifetime relationship man.
Ron pearlman is an awesome actor who hits the nail on the head in any role he plays, IMO.
