Do you have a dark side?

A dark side? A pessimistic side? A side to yourself you don't show many people?

Not really, I don't have a natural inclination to dwell on negative things or fantasize about causing people pain or anything like that. I'm glad for that, seems like a huge waste of energy.

But, I do have a dark-side sense of humor and like satire a lot. I'm probably more genuinely amused than I should be by people/groups/institutions that are unintentional beds of irony and hypocrisy. It makes me laugh, not wanna destroy them or anything like that.

Not sure if I'd be considered optimistic or just realistic. I don't typically go into things with a lot of expectations and just make the best of what's in front of me.

There are a lot of things that I don't tell other people because I don't see any point in telling anyone else. But, in terms of my personality and disposition, I don't think anything's hidden. I'm private, but not a mystery.

I'm not generally pessimistic and take most things in stride. No point in getting all worked up over something I can't control. I do have a tendency to dwell on certain things sometimes. Probably BECAUSE I can't control it. A little contradictory I know. I AM really good at hiding my feelings though. At least I think so anyway.

It wasn't as interesting as a DP though; I quoted my post and deleted it.

I've hardly ever had to delete anything, but that new dump spammer opened a dupe of its intro thread in the crime forum last night; took a couple of tries for the delete to kick in. Works fine now.

Ready for the next virgin to drop a dupe dump in the cell block...

I don't think I have a dark side, I am more or less what you see is what you get. That does of course depend on what you are capable of seeing.
I like dark humor, and I don't mind seeing idiot groups feeling a little pain, stupid should hurt after all.
I don't hide any of the aspects of me, its there if you want to look. Whether you see it or not isn't something I worry about

A dark side, no. I do have a warped sense of humor but I don't think it can be considered dark.

Pessimistic, that would be a big hell no. Hope springs eternal & I always manage to find something positive even in the worst of situations.

I think I'm more dark than I am light, so my light side would be the one that most people don't see, although it's not hidden. I'm not a very pessimistic person either way, I always try to make the best of things.

Yes, I think I do have parts of myself I do not show others. Depends on circumstances and who I am with. When I get a bit depressed I tend to hide it from those I do not know well. Sometimes my depression can come across as aloofness, or rudeness. But I do not mean it that way. The meds help. LOL
