I'm hosting a party next month. Not much on "themes" - just like to throw a bunch of good stuff out there and mix it up.
This is my finger foods menu, I think. I don't have my own recipes, I just do it my own way as I go along, but found some links that are close to how I usually make them. They're all easy to make and serve. Taquitos - beef, chicken, pork, or veggie -with salsa and guacamole. http://www.macheesmo.com/2013/01/homemade-taquitos/ Cherry tomato, mozzarella, basil bits on toothpicks - with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/tomato-and-...lla-bites/ Teriyaki meatballs - we're all carnivores. You can put whatever you want in them - plain or spicy. Ground turkey meatballs are even better than ground beef ones, IMO. Just cook them, stick some toothpicks in them, and cover the tray. http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2010/01/t...balls.html Spinach dip inside a sour dough bread loaf. http://www.jocooks.com/main-courses/vege...read-bowl/

Thanks! I do the spinach dip in the bread bowl. It's a no fail for me and something I can always count on to be a hit.

The wings are easy. You just deep fry them until they're really crispy (about 20 minutes) and toss them in a bowl with hot sauce (I use Louisianne) mixed with melted butter, dash of oregano and a dash of garlic powder. Depending on how spicy you like them you can add more or less butter to the hot sauce. You can also add chopped fresh garlic if you like them garlicky or fresh chopped hot peppers if you like them really spicy. They are also good if you toss them on the grill after frying them and dressing them with the hot sauce.

Every time you post this recipe someone makes them & comes back raving about how good they are so thanks for taking the time to post it again.

You save a bunch of money making them, those suckas go for like 10 bucks for 12 in the frozen food section. Buy the wings ahead of time and freeze them as they sell out fast before the game.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

It sure as hell beats cheese and cocktail sausages on sticks and bloody vol au vents. My mother makes mini toad in the holes and mini burgers for parties.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.
