Who cares how good looking film makers choose to portray fictional characters?
If Jesus was real he would have been a swarthy Jewish midget. The Fox news Jesus is blond haired and blue eyed and hates queers. The real Jesus would have been a dark haired hippy.

At least he can be portrayed in a movie without a bunch of idiot ragheads swarming the local girl scout meeting and chopping off heads. Religious tolerance my ass.

Well, the JILF controversy and Morgado's appeal seems to have generated a lot of interest in the Son of God film.
It's number two at the box office, behind Non-Stop with Liam Neeson. I didn't watch the History Channel's The Bible miniseries upon which the movie extends. But, checked out the movie trailer yesterday. Feels like a tv production on the big screen to me. I wouldn't pay to see it, but would be interested in what others who've seen it think about it.
