Yeh, what we couldn't see was the extent of her injuries which were underneath and to the side.

What did NATO do when Milošević waged ethnic warfare? Nothing at all until most of the damage had already been done. All the West cared about was breaking up Yugoslavia, and mitigation of conflict didn't serve that end. Millions of people suffered horribly as a result. Once the dust had settled the Clinton administration swooped in to "save the day" and send Milošević to the Hague. That's how much moral authority the West has -- none at all.
