He would have left them alone to fend for themselves given his attempt at trying to shakedown the Ukrainian president failed in 2019. That was one of his "perfect" phone calls. He's already on record as having blocked military aid to them when they wouldn't investigate his political opponent.

They are a neutral country and are a partner with NATO. NATO needs to do the right thing and stand with them now.
