No toilet paper. Fucking hell. I'm one of those people you read about who shop Costco and have enough toilet paper until the turn of the century.

Paper towels too.

Are any of you aware of what is going on with Russia/Ukraine right now?

I was going to start a new thread, but I searched first and found this. It's nearly 8 years old.

The party of war is now in charge. It may be a bit fragile for a while.

Lol
I didn't either. I edited my response after looking it up. But I had heard earlier that they weren't happy with Biden's response. I wonder how Trump would have responded.

He would have left them alone to fend for themselves given his attempt at trying to shakedown the Ukrainian president failed in 2019. That was one of his "perfect" phone calls. He's already on record as having blocked military aid to them when they wouldn't investigate his political opponent.

Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union and gained its independence when the Soviet Union collapsed. They are a neutral country and are a partner with NATO. NATO needs to do the right thing and stand with them now.

NATO is powerless, the United States is their muscle.

The "right thing", eh? Next you'll be telling me that we're the good guys and they're the bad guys.

There aren't any "good guys" when it comes to nation states. There's bad, and worse, and which is which is just as relative as everything else is.

So what's the point of NATO swallowing up what used to be the Soviet Union? Whose interests does that serve? Maybe the same people who lobbied for US intervention in Syria?
