Myra Lewis was reported missing by her family on March 1 after playing with her sister outside their home in Camden, the FBI said.
She was last seen about 11 a.m. the same day wearing white or khaki pants, a turquoise sweater adorned with a bear, and pink tennis shoes. Myra is 37 inches tall and weighs 27 pounds.
"Since her disappearance was reported, multiple state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies have participated in a massive, collaborative search effort," the FBI Office in Jackson said.
"Significant resources have been dedicated to this investigation, including extensive ground and air searches, and utilization of specially trained search teams."
(HOTD: Friday, the pond across from Myra's house was searched for the second time and cleared).
"We are confident that information will be uncovered which will lead to Myra's return, and we continue to solicit the public's assistance in locating this little girl," said Daniel McMullen, the FBI special agent in charge.
Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker told CNN affiliate WAPT that he believes the little girl is in the area.
There's a $20k reward from LE for Myra's return.

Hoping the FBI agent and Sheriff Tucker are right; sounds like they believe there's a good chance that someone took Myra without intent to kill her.

SOME CASE BACKGROUND
-Police began looking for 2-year-old Myra Lewis on Saturday afternoon after family members realized she was missing. She may have been gone from her rural Camden home for four hours by that time. Myra's family has reportedly said they searched for the child themselves before calling authorities.(HOTD: a 2-year-old not reported missing for 4 hours? -- I'd like to know more about the family.)
-An Amber alert was issued Sunday (March 2) and family members said Monday they believed she was kidnapped. But Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker says authorities aren't sure.
-Tucker said Tuesday (March 4) that authorities had searched 4 square miles around the family home, using dogs, aircraft and more than 300 people.
- On Wednesday (March 5), the FBI joined the search.
-On Friday (March 7) Myra's mom Ericka Lewis was arrested on an unrelated probation violation.
-The sheriff urges people to contact authorities with tips "no matter how insignificant."

No updates from LE on this case; none that I could find anyway.
Turns out, Myra's mom Ericka Lewis is in jail for for carrying a concealed weapon -- which is a probation violation for her. Mom's a felon; convicted of welfare fraud.
I wonder if mom has enemies who might have taken Myra? Really wanna believe this little cutie is still alive.

I can see running into the house for a few minutes if a 2 year old is playing with older kids, but longer than that without adult supervision is dangerous, IMO.
I can also see looking around for a bit before calling police.
But, 4+ hours is a very long time not to report a toddler missing, no matter how you slice it.
