What's the Longest You've gone without Sleep?

During the week I usually get about 6 and ¹⁄₂ to 7 hours a sleep at night and I am always tired. I try to catch up on the weekends. I love my sleep and am very cranky when I don't get it. I have never been one to pull an all nighter.

Recently when I went to Houston, I had to get up at 3:45am two mornings in a row - first to catch my flight and then to get my brother to the hospital. The second day I was up until 1am and was DYING! I don't have the stamina for that anymore.

Optimally, I sleep about 10hrs/night and I'm a night owl, so it usually makes for late mornings for me. I have a sleep disorder though, which causes me to dream too much... so I don't get enough deep sleep and usually still feel tired when I get up, even after sleeping that long.

I couldn't sleep during the day if I tried, but as soon as my head hits the pillow at night, I'm out cold for 8 hours. It probally has something to do with the 8-14 Coronas.

In college, I skipped 2 whole nights of sleep! I was working hard on finishing a big film project. Never went to bed that first day, worked through the night ... didn't go the bed the next night either! Felt like I was dying, like a zombie by that third day. I crashed around 5pm.
